Are you tired of seeing all those items from expired quests taking over your FarmVille Gift Box? Not anymore! FarmVille is slowly rolling out a new feature that will rid Task Items needed to complete quests from your Gift Box. What happens to them? With this update, you will automatically receive credit for any item that you claim on the Facebook News Feed or receive from friends.
Any quest items that are currently in your Gift Box will be removed as the feature continues to roll out. And there’s more! FarmVille is also gifting everyone 20,000 free Farm Coins as a compensation for any Farm Coin value that these items may have had.
We love, love, love, this new feature and cannot wait to try it out! But, and this is a very big but, we have a few questions on how it will work. What will happen to items that we collect for future quests that we are not currently working on…will these items we collect also be counted? If not, this will make questing and friend help more difficult as friends will be more reluctant to click on your request if they are not on the same quest. Eeek!
