FarmVille’s CityVille Mailbox Slowly Rolling Out,
In a new FarmVille and CityVille cross-promotion, Zynga is encouraging farmers to once again visit the city with the perks of more free gifts.
After the update is available to you you will be greeted with the pop-up as shown below where you will then enter Placement Mode. You can choose to place your Mailbox immediately or if not it will go into your FarmVille Gift Box for safe keeping until you are ready to place it.
Basically this new feature allows you to send free gifts from your farm to your CityVille city. Additionally from the CityVille Hot Air Balloon you can send free gifts from your city to your FarmVille farm.
This new feature encourages dual game-play for those farmers and cityfolk that play both games and offers an incentive for new players or those FarmVille farmers that may have already forgotten their lost cities.
After clicking “Look Inside” on your Mailbox, you will be able to view a menu of sent and received gifts as well as what free gifts can be sent.
